From an early age, William has had an interest in numbers and a desire to help people, so going into accountancy seemed natural to him. He finished his level 4 qualification with AAT in 2019, at which point he felt he couldn't wait any longer to begin building a small accountancy practice of his own. He found it to be a steep learning curve with many lessons learned but he is pleased to see how WJR Accounting has been able to grow into a locally-recognised and sustainable accountancy practice in just a few years. He notes that for this reason, he wouldn't do anything differently. Outside of work, he enjoy playing the piano and running.
